Academy Screenings
in San Francisco /
Bay Area
Award Season is generally from October to February, and many film studios hold screenings of their award-worthy films during these months.
Academy screenings are free, and most are open to SAG-AFTRA members.
These screenings are held in screening rooms or movie theaters, and to attend, all you have to do is RSVP.
When Award Season starts later this year, I'll post screening information on this page.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR ATTENDING SCREENINGS:
- Each studio has a "For Your Consideration" page on their website. Follow the links to find the screening schedule for each film, click on the links to RSVP for the date, time and location of the screening you want to attend.
- The screening venues prefer that you RSVP no later than 1 p.m. the day of the screening -- although it's preferred that you RSVP at least one day in advance. (For screenings held on Saturdays and Sundays, RSVP by 1 p.m. on the Friday before the weekend.) Of course, the sooner you RSVP, the less likely all seats will be taken.
- Make sure to bring your ID and SAG-AFTRA membership card with you. You are allowed to bring guests (guests do not have to be guild members).
